Basra Engineering Technical College concluded a course concerning the mathematical model of the Stella program, presented by the Head of the Environment and Pollution Engineering Techniques, Assistant Professor Dr. Alia Aqeel Muhammad, and in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Balasim Hashem, and the teaching staff. It lasted for five days.
The course included using the Stella mathematical model to simulate practical results, where the practical results are matched with the results of the mathematical model, and hence the results are estimated.
The course concluded that the mathematical model “Stella” is a model used in the field of solar energy to determine and analyze the performance of solar systems.
The mathematical model “Stella” usually refers to the use of the software “STELLA” (Structural Thinking, Experiential Learning Laboratory with Animation), which is a modeling tool based on systemic dynamics. It is used to create dynamic simulation models of complex systems in various fields such as energy, environment, economics, and education.
