The Dean of Basra Engineering Technical College , Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Balasem Hashem, welcomed in her office the head of the Scientific Committee for Renewable Energy in the General Company for the Production of Electricity in Southern Region, Engineer Haider Haraz Youssef.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for supporting energy and reducing emissions and ways to activate the private sector, as well as investing in energy and establishing partnerships in various axes that support clean energy, as well as agreeing to hold discussion sessions to discuss the needs of the labor market.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Diaa Kamel Shari, and the Head of the Department of Fuel and Energy Technology Engineering, Dr. Rand Abdul Sattar Al-Riyahi.
