Under the guidance of the President of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Leila Balam Hashim, the team of the Technical Engineering Technical College, Basra, continued the program to provide services to visitors walking to Holy Karbala, to visit the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (as).
The volunteer work team provided awareness and education to young people and decent families in order to preserve society and address any potential intellectual or cultural risks, where posters and education were published and distributed with different titles:
●[No to drugs]! Combating narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances
● Risks of electronic extortion.
● [No to electronic extortion] Electronic anti-extortion
● [No to violent extremism leading to terrorism] Countering extremism in all its forms and designations
●[No to homosexuality] Reject and address marital status
●[No to smoking] reducing tobacco control
The team presented the cultural awareness program with the participation of the Assistant Dean of the Faculty for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Dr. Dia Kamel Shri, the Director of the Office of Brigadier Badier Bahaa Ibrahim Badi, and the official of the Government Information and Communication Division, Saad Nazim Jassim. Amid an effective social welcome with the published fight for social issues that threaten civil peace and peacebuilding and inspired by the fragrant lessons and lessons from Imam Al-Hussein (as).
