This event was held under the patronage of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Engineering Technical College – Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Nawras Jameel Jassim.
The workshop was organized as part of the Entrepreneurship Week activities under the slogan:
“From the Land of Mesopotamia… Ideas Emerge.”
The workshop aimed to highlight the applications of artificial intelligence in the development of smart electrical systems, its role in improving operational efficiency and enhancing system reliability, as well as supporting innovation in modern energy solutions.
The session was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Wafeeqa Abdulrazzaq Hassan, and included an overview of the fundamental concepts of smart electrical systems, mechanisms for integrating artificial intelligence technologies, and a discussion of the key challenges and opportunities in this field.
