In preparation for the commencement of the 2025–2026 academic year, Dean of Basra engineering technical college , Assistant Professor Dr. Nawras Jameel Jasem, conducted a follow-up inspection of the ongoing building maintenance works across the college’s departments.
These efforts are carried out with the objective of:
•safeguarding the structural integrity and safety of the facilities,
•preserving the overall appearance of the buildings,
•addressing wall and surface repairs, and
•ensuring the sustainable upkeep of the college infrastructure.
Furthermore, the Dean instructed the Maintenance Division to finalize all outstanding tasks, including:
•electrical installations,
•plumbing systems, and
•the reinforcement of safety and protection measures.
Through these measures, the College reaffirms its commitment to providing a safe, well-maintained, and supportive environment for both students and faculty in the upcoming academic year.
