Basra Engineering Technical College conducted a scientific symposium on e-mail protection, presented by the lecturer, Mortada Muhammad Hassan Ali, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor, Dr. Laila Balasim Hashem, and in the presence of the college’s employees.
The symposium topics included types of electronic threats, email protection, combating electronic fraud, and combating spam.
The symposium concluded that e-mail is a method of exchanging digital messages between people over the Internet. Email is widely used for personal and professional communication, and messages are sent and received via email servers.
The email usually consists of text and can contain attachments such as images, documents, and other files. The Dean of the College extended her thanks and appreciation to the symposium lecturer.
