Under the guidance of the President of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq and the follow-up of the Dean of the College, Assistant Prof. Dr. Laila Balam Hashim, the activities of the college were launched for the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (as), where the activities of the service program and educational guidance began by the college with the aim of providing services to the community and preserving it from social problems that threaten the social system with all its joints.
The work team provided awareness of the program with the participation of the Assistant Dean of the Faculty for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Dr. Dia Kamel Shri, and the head of the Government Information and Communication Division, Saad Nazim Jassim, and the follow-up official, Murtada Ali Fahd, within the activities of the service program, the campaign to combat drugs and psychotropic substances, with the aim of raising awareness and culture, spreading a culture of rejecting and addressing drugs and psychotropic substances, and protecting young people.
It is worth mentioning the continuation of the awareness program during the period of the Arbaeen visit to raise awareness of all segments of society.
