A delegation from Basra Engineering Technical College visited the General Company for Petrochemical Industries under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Balasem Hashim. The delegation welcomed by the Director of the company’s petrochemical factory, senior chief engineer Nazim Muzban Taher.

The visit aimed to follow up the summer training for students and hold a meeting to discuss the students’ school and laboratory curricula to bridge the gap between the college’s outputs and the labor market.

The visit also included reviewing the company’s websites, the control department and the research unit to study the company’s problems and work to address them by forming joint research teams.

During the company’s visit, the Dean of the Faculty was accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Dr. Zia Kamel Shri, the Head of the Department of Chemical and Petrochemical EngineeringTechniques , Dr. Amjad Ahmed Ali, Dr. Akram Awad Mozan and the lecturer Abdul Razek Saeed Abdullah.
