Basra Engineering Technical College conducted a workshop regarding self-report and improvement plan for programmatic accreditation for technical engineering education, sponsored by the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and with the honor of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Balasim Hashem.
The workshop covered an attentive review of the self-evaluation report, the rates of completion of the improvement plan, and the conformity report, which was presented by the Assistant Dean of the College for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Dr. Dhia Kamel Shri, and was co-presented by Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Al-Nahi.
The workshop provided a detailed explanation of all the general standards of the National Council for Technical Engineering Program Accreditation in preparation for submitting an application to obtain program accreditation for engineering specializations.
