Basra Engineering Technical College conducted a workshop regarding the foundations of combating administrative and financial corruption in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission, Basra Investigations Directorate, presented by the Commission’s representative Mustafa Abdul Jabbar Zoran
and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Blasim Hashem.
The workshop addressed the axes of introducing the Integrity Commission and its work mechanism with regard to its relationship with state departments, standards, ethics, the profession’s charter, and the role of staff in combating administrative and financial corruption.
The workshop also addressed means of reducing corruption mechanisms and opening channels of communication in the event of suspicions related to public money in various places.
At the end of the workshop, the Dean of the College expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Basra Investigations Directorate for the joint cooperation and great interest and providing awareness and education to combat financial and administrative corruption.
