The volunteer work team at Basra Engineering Technical College provided services to the visitors at the border outlet of Shalamja walking to the holy city of Karbala to perform the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (as), and under the auspices of the President of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Laila BalasmHashim.
The team provided meals and distributed water to the processions, as well as providing transportation for visitors from the border port to the center of the Governorate.
The team also coordinated accommodation to the visitors.
