The College of Technical Engineering , Basra, concluded a course on writing paragraphs and pricing speculative inspections for construction, electrical, and mechanical works, presented by the college’s teaching assistant, Prof. Abdul Amir Qasim Hassan, in which the college’s employees and state departments participated.
It lasted a week and was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Laila Balasim Hashem, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs. And postgraduate studies, Dr. Zia Kamel Shri.

The course aimed to become familiar with international and Iraqi specifications in the implementation of all engineering works, reading engineering plans, and the method of writing speculative inspection paragraphs clearly and avoiding ambiguous paragraphs in the inspection.

The course lecturer added that the course included examining the most important obstacles that hinder the concept of specifications and how to price statements correctly.
