Basra Engineering Technical College conducted a workshop on digital transformation in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Balasim Hashem, and the college’s employees, presented by the college’s teaching assistant, Hassan Hammoud.

The workshop concluded that:
Digital transformation refers to the process of using digital technology to improve and develop processes, services, and products in institutions and companies, and this transformation includes the use of technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things to achieve higher efficiency, improve the customer experience, and develop new business models.”

The workshop lecturer added, “Digital transformation aims to enhance competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth in an era that reliance on technology is greatly increasing. It includes training employees to use new technologies, adopting a culture of innovation, and adapting to rapid changes, especially in the surrounding environment.”
