For the purpose of activating cooperation between academic and applied academic institutions and training centers, Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, the Dean of Basra Engineering Technical College, visited the vocational center in Khor Al-Zubair. Mr. Ali Kamel Luaibi, the director of the center welcomed Dr. Adnan who was accompanied by his administrative assistant Dr. Yassin Hassan Taher and the head of the Department of Thermal Mechanical Engineering Techniques Dr. Safa Hamid Faisal. The two sides discussed the matters of mutual interest such as training and developing students of the college and the possibility of concluding agreements in the future. Dr. Adnan also visited the training workshops of the center including electrical workshops, cooling and air conditioning, computer maintenance center, automotive mechanics, welding, bridge cranes, sanitary fittings, turning, electric cars. The Dean of the College expressed his willingness to support the Center and its operation through the provision of consultations and technical expertise in the College.
