Basra Engineering Technical College conducted a workshop on combating fraud and administrative corruption, presented by the college’s lecturer, Dr. Omar Salah al-Din Nouri, in the presence of the college’s administrative and financial staff.

The workshop concluded that “mechanisms for combating fraud and corruption include a set of policies and procedures aimed at preventing and combating corruption. These mechanisms include strict legal legislation, enhancing transparency and accountability, and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability in institutions and societies.”

He added, “Mechanisms to combat fraud and corruption include the use of technology to enhance transparency and monitor financial operations, and enhance training and awareness about the risks of corruption and how to prevent them.”
